The alien bad boy that all the women are in love with, drell are one of the few races in ME3 MP that are extremely versitile, powerful, and possess a lot of meta as several builds are possible with each race. Today we'll focus on the biotic drell.
Power Builds:
The Drell Adept was my first drell character I fell in love with and holds a special place in my heart. I'll list the popular build and my custom build I do for fun to exploit the combination of pull and cluster.

- Reave:
- If you're not casting pull, cast reave every moment you can
- Damage protection is weird, so it is actually 5% less than what any figure tells you when out of cover and normal in.
- Pull:
- Use this on anything that doesn't have shields and detonate with reave (don't waste grenades on mooks)
- Cluster:
- Cluster grenades are your boss killer and room-clearer. Use right after priming a boss or crowd with reave for awesome biotic fireworks.
- Passives:
- Weapon all the way.
- Drell weapon bonuses are too awesome to even bother taking cluster grenades over. Besides you'll be dealing more damage with your weapon than your grenades anyway
- Fitness:
- The speed boosts are the only way to keep a drell alive. Constantly abuse this to your advantage with grabs, dodges, etc. If you need practice don't be shy playing on lower difficulty.
- Gear:
- Harrier, talon, or any shotgun are a drell's best friend regardless of class.
- Grenade capacity is a must, don't take anything else
- If possible always take adrenaline boost to make enemies and teammates look like their standing still. You can literally out run rockets when you're this fast.
Tactics:
The drell while straight-forward takes some serious practice due to their pathetically low shields. Always jump back into action the MOMENT your shields come back. They are so low that abusing your shield gate and speed are the key to staying alive.
- Sprint to crowd.
- Take cover.
- Cast reave
- Toss grenades
- Mop up with more reave, grenades, and gun fire.
- Rinse and Repeat
Note: If using pull, trying using it to prime crowds with no bosses to minimize your grenade consumption.
Happy hunting!
