Asari Adept

Asari Adept:

The queen of hot-sexist-alien-babes, the asari's battle prowess and affinity for biotics make them ideal adepts. This commando is no exception and here we'll discover her extremely unique play style.

Power Builds:

Once again we find ourselves with a character possessing very little meta as asari fitness is next to useless. Instead we focus on her heavy arsenal of boss-killing biotics, and stasis fields that literally stop enemies in their tracks. As we know from the reference sheet, sniper rifles are perhaps the worst weapon class in the game and instead I highly recommend hit and running with a heavy pistol to deal more headshot damage.

• Stasis:
• Toss at anything that doesn't have armor.
• Having the chance for free regen is vastly superior to shaving 1/7th of a second on each casting
• Bubble; literally kills two birds with one 'stone'
• Warp:
• Good old warp, rub on armor and watch it disintegrate.
• Throw:
• I don't recommend using this as a follow up to stasis since the explosion is weak and warp can fulfill the same purpose while also debuffing for a weapon follow-up, instead use it on primed enemies exclusively
• Passives:
• Weapon all the way.
• Explosions + weapon user makes every point needed
• Fitness:
• Dump stat, last rank of throw just is a waste
• Gear:
• Talon always and forever (gets bonus vs shields and barriers while being extremely accurate and high damage, ideal for head shots) with heavy barrel instead of headshot amp (which is garbage and redundant given you're already getting a 40% boost)
• Pistol power amps and headshot amps
• Anything is preferable to getting a shield buff, her barriers are terrible although getting a power amp is even less useful.

Tactics:

The asari like most power users is a fairly straight forward build differing only in whether you're fighting bosses or mooks.

1. Toss stasis at crowd
2. Unload with talon, aiming high for headshots
3. Repeat 1-2 until mooks are dead and/or boss shows up
4. Warp boss
5. Fire weapon
6. Throw from cover
7. Fire
8. Warp
9. Rinse-repeat
