Human Male/Female Adept

The Human Male/Female Adept:

Power Builds:

Based on the extremely low fitness of humans (a measly 500 base shields) and the fact that biotic explosions, like any explosion in Mass Effect 3, are a base, unchanging number, there's really only one way to build the Human adept. Despite its low meta-factor do not underestimate the incredible damage output of this caster. This is the first build I suggest to players with few unlocks looking to do some gold or platinum.

  • Singularity:
    • Useful for mooks and crowd control. Always prime groups with this.
    • Can only prime, however, when it explodes it *can* detonate primed enemies
    • You really only need four ranks so feel free to take this power down if need be
  • Shockwave:
    • The bread and butter; always use this to detonate as it can create chains of explosions
    • Deals highest biotic damage explosion in game combined with warp
    • Can detonate any primed enemy in the game
    • Never pick the last rank; its a waste of points
    • Note: avoid spamming as its extremely annoying for people using precision weapons
  • Warp:
    • This is your boss killer, always open up with this
    • Massive debuff potential
    • Detonates AND primes; who says the universe isn't a free lunch?
  • Passives:
    • Human passive are bad, however human fitness is worse, so take all weapon damage to boast your pistol's damage
    • Power damage is useless on this build as your explosions are a set number, don't waste points on it
  • Fitness:
    • Always spec this last and quite frankly this is a dump area
    • Take cover non-stop with this character. If you're not rolling or taking cover you WILL die
  • Gear:
    • Acolyte/Arc Pistol work best as they can be charged during regen and fired during casting, acolyte is better due to its natural 300% vs shields/barriers
    • Talon is a good substitue as it deals with pesky shields which biotics suck against
    • Geth scanner works great for this class especially with shockwave going through walls
    • Warp, phasic, or cryo ammo are ideal for this class, BEWARE cryo ammo overrides priming!
    • For bonuses, boost your regen and weapon. Shield and power bonuses are useless here.
Tactics:

This class is so straight forward you could honestly put the basic tactics in numeric order:
  1. Charge Acolyte
  2. Find a crowd.
  3. Singularity while releasing acolyte
  4. Charge while dodging/taking cover
  5. Shockwave while releasing a round
  6. Dodge/take cover while charging
  7. Warp any remaining armored enemies while releasing another round
  8. Cover/dodge/charge
  9. Shockwave/fire
  10. Repeat 6-9 until bosses dead
  11. Start from the top.
Adjust as needed for tactics, gear, and/or powers. Minor variants of this build exsist however playing all of this class's powers is really the minimum no matter what road you decide to take.

Happy hunting!
