Collector Adept

Collector Adept:

Creepy, eerie, and entirely original this character is bundles of fun and literally overflowing with biotic potential. Definitely a fitting close to the adepts by bioware.

Build URL: http://kalence.drupalgardens.com/me3-builder#1A!2301585!4806585!..L5!EB8D3
  • Dark Sphere:
    • Despite its proneness to glitches, this power is essentially biotic nuke
    • If it glitches, switch to your SMG and swarms for supressive fire
  • Seeker Swarm:
    • While a very niche power it has its moment for stagger potential
    • The damage reduction essentially brings its shields up to 990 hypothetically
  • Dark Channel:
    • Great for mook-crowd control, one toss can mow down a squad of mooks in seconds
  • Passives:
    • All power damage, this character's explosions are glitched so instead we focus on raw power
  • Fitness:
    • Only pity points, frankly most people can play him with no fitness if you prefer but statistically I find this option the most viable
  • Gear:
    • Power damage and weapon damage bonuses
    • Warp ammo is a must!
    • SMGs and acolyte are the best choice for this build
Tactics:

Fairly straight-forward and only the occasional glitch will hamper you.
  1. Dark Sphere at a crowd while releasing acolyte
  2. Dark Channel them and drop another acolyte round
  3. Open fire with hurricane
  4. Detonate Sphere detonation while reloading
  5. Open fire with hurricane.
  6. Rinse/Repeat

Happy hunting!

Batarian Slasher

Batarian Slasher:

As one of the meanest and toughest SoBs in the galaxy the batarian slasher is the ultimate boss killer, ideal for gold and platinum.

Build URL: http://kalence.drupalgardens.com/me3-builder#10!1B07545!!!.FAAD
  • Lash:
    • Skip, completely useless on him aside from saving grenades which harrier and warp debuff take care of anyway
  • Warp:
    • Debuff for days, toss this out constantly
  • Cluster Grenades:
    • Damage all the things!
    • Constantly pick up grenades
    • If you don't have grenade capacity yet take the extra two spec
  • Passives:
    • WEAPON DAMAGE
  • Fitness:
    • 1200 passes the 990 mark so for 5 and six I splurged on melee to bring him up to an ass kicking 3000 melee.
  • Gear:
    • Harrier
    • Grenade Capacity
    • Anything you feel comfortable with

Tactics:

Very straight-forward
  1. Warp
  2. Cluster
  3. Mop-up with harrier
  4. Bash in the face of anything left standing.
  5. Rinse/Repeat

Happy hunting!

Krogan Shaman

Krogan Shaman:

Easily the most un-original character in the MP the Krogan Shaman is essentially a human adept in a Krogan body. Its a real shame this character wasn't more original and didn't use the vanilla Krogan skin.

Build URL: http://kalence.drupalgardens.com/me3-builder#19!3002515!!!.FDAE
  • Barrier:
    • This power slows down your power usage; I'd recommend avoiding it.
  • Warp:
    • A classic combo; only one way to spec this
  • Shockwave:
    • Equally classic; no need to take rank 6, just go to 5.
  • Passives:
    • Weapon damage once again triumphs.
  • Fitness:
    • Though I consider this an up-close and CQC character, melee is inferior to the reegar/BE combo. Plus being able to survive almost six shots from a geth prime on gold is insane.
  • Gear:
    • Reegar carbine or any shotgun really works well on him. Reegar IMO works best with its natural shield affinity combining well with BE natural affinity for everything else
    • Beyond power damage take what you'd like, shields and weapon damage work best
Tactics:
Aside from keeping yourself from getting grabbed this build is extremely straight-forward and should toast anything in its path with the best BE combo in the game and the best DPS weapon as well.

  1. Warp
  2. Reegar
  3. Shockwave
  4. Reegar
  5. Rinse/Repeat

Happy hunting!

Volus Adept

Volus Adept:

One of the strangest additions to the ME3 MP, the volus are contrary to their appearance extremely useful characters.

Build URL: http://kalence.drupalgardens.com/me3-builder#18!5B04535!!!0.AAG
  • Stasis:
    • Awesome ability for sniping which combined with the volus natural tactical cloak makes him essentially a biotic infiltrator.
  • Biotic Orbs:
    • Skip it. 825 barrier is far more important.
  • Shield Boost:
    • Essentially the Volus Adept's barrier
  • Passives:
    • Weapon damage, every time forever unless you're doing a dps build.
  • Fitness:
    • While at first the volus shields may seem like crap at full they're as good as a human's
    • 825 is just short of 990 which with shield boost gives the volus a massive edge people ignore frequently
  • Gear:
    • Really anything you feel comfortable with is worth taking. Just avoid power damage boosts.
Tactics:

Straight-forward and easy to top the score board with.

Mooks:
  1. Shield Boost
  2. Stasis
  3. Cloak
  4. Fire
  5. Rinse/Repeat
Bosses:

  1. Shield Boost
  2. Cloak
  3. Fire
  4. Rinse/Repeat

Happy hunting!

N7 Fury

N7 Fury:

Living on the wild side this N7, like all N7s, is extremely unique and easily one of the most popular and fun adepts to play.

Build URL: http://kalence.drupalgardens.com/me3-builder#17!3007565!!..L5..73!G37AE
  • Annihilation Field:
    • Always keep it on for explosions which essentially grant you instant barrier regen!
  • Dark Channel:
    • Pity points; great power just wasted on this close-range class.
  • Throw:
    • You can go pirhana with extra explosion damage
    • Or (my favorite) Reegar with instant regen which equals extra explosion damage and grants you the over-powered reegar carbine on top of essentially a biotic charge non-stop FOR FREE
    • Explosions are your main source of armor damage!
  • Passives:
    • Weapon damage forever on her, explosions are her preference
  • Fitness:
    • Again, the fitness on this adept comes short of what we're looking for however she does provide us with 825 barrier which again with the right gear gets close to 990.
    • Rank 5 go melee if using annihilation field; its redundant to go shield regen here
  • Gear:
    • Weapon damage, speed, and shields are what she needs
    • Stick with Reegar as it provides the best damage output for shields and her powers can deal with armored targets
    • Geth scanner is a must for her as she can dodge through walls
Tactics:

While incredibly fun, this build is very vanguard-ish dangerous and takes practice
  1. Prime Field.
  2. Run into crowd.
  3. Toss throw.
  4. Unload magazine with reegar.
  5. Toss throw.
  6. Teleport behind a wall.
  7. Reload.
  8. Repeat.

Happy hunting!

Ex-Cerberus Adept

Ex-Cerberus Adept:

The original ME3 MP badass, the old pre-nerf smash was a beauty to behold. Alas times changed and an incredible nerf on range now makes this character fairly niche. The following build is mine as I feel everybody differs heavily on building this guy.

Build URL: http://kalence.drupalgardens.com/me3-builder#16!2807585!!..L5!585AG
  • Singularity:
    • Useful for priming crowds but very slow to regen in combo with smash
  • Smash:
    • Awesome damage output though range is heavily nerfed
    • Use this detonate everything and anything you can, it also primes
  • Lash:
    • Excellent follow-up to smash to detonate mooks
    • Some limited utility on normal mooks without shields
  • Passives:
    • Weapon damage, the power damage boosts are insignificant
  • Fitness:
    • Honestly the last few ranks of lash and singularity are pretty unnecessary and with 825 shields he comes close the 990 mark and can make it with some gear
  • Gear:
    • Talon is the only must-have on him
    • Geth scanner works wonders for wall-hacking with smash from cover
    • Shield, weapon, and power damage bonuses are great while regen is slightly wasted on him.
Tactics:

Tactics are straightforward with this class regardless of enemy type.
  1. Open up with singularity.
  2. Fire weapon and close in
  3. Detonate mooks with lash
  4. Duck into cover and smash
  5. Lash any mooks left and rinse/repeat
  6. If bosses are the only survivors alternate between singularity/talon/cover/smash instead

Happy hunting!

Asari Justicar

Asari Justicar:

Finally, an Asari that feels like she is actually prepared for war instead of a strange biker fetish. The Justicar is extremely fun to play and spec although her basic strategy always remains the same with hit and run techniques being a trademark.

Her flexibility allows for three different builds and two different play-styles. I'll list the most popular followed by my personal build which I recommend over the popular one for increased damage output.

http://kalence.drupalgardens.com/me3-builder#15!4806585!2307595!!G5FA5
  • Biotic Sphere:
    • Always take Radius and Warp effect to maximize the amount of biotic explosions
    • Avoid Damage reduction as its too situational and there's far better support characters
  • Reave:
    • Bread and butter of this build, spam this everywhere
    • Avoid taking past rank 4 unless you sacrifice fitness
    • The damage reduction is also situational here and honestly not a worthwhile investment
    • Reave primes for sphere and detonates sphere and pull
  • Pull:
    • Highest explosion damage she is capable of
    • Greatly under-estimated
    • Quick regen allows easy spamming with reave to clear crowds
  • Passives:
    • All weapon, her biotics are weak and focus on explosions
    • Her weapon passives are far too helpful on guns like the harrier or hurricane to sack
  • Fitness:
    • Rank 4 allows her to almost touch 990 by hitting short at 840.
  • Gear:
    • Hurricane is a compact harrier allowing her to carry more gear and still spam
    • Acolyte is to deal with pesky shields which she is terrible against
    • Gear bonuses are up to you just avoid power damage and get at least some barrier boost to bring her to 990 barrier (sweet spot for surviving most boss triple shots)
    • I'd recommend taking phasic rounds as she is terrible against shields and needs every edge she can get. Failing that warp and armor piercing are good classics.
Tactics:

Mooks:
  1. Pull
  2. Reave
  3. Mop-up with sphere and close-range hurricane.
Bosses/Shielded mooks
  1. Charge acolyte.
  2. Fire reave and acolyte
  3. Drop sphere to detonate.
  4. Switch to hurricane.
  5. Detonate again with reave.
  6. Mop-up with hurricane.

Happy hunting!
